FI light staying on. KLX 250

Hi, it's a derestricted KLX 250. Aftermarket exhaust but all set up properly and been running perfect the last 1.5 years.
The only change I made recently was to get the muffler made a bit quieter. Put a few hundred k on since the exhaust and no problems.

Yesterday the light was flickering when I started it then went out as normal. Later I drove a few k and the FI light stayed on the whole time. Took the bike home and shut it off, restarted it and the light went out.

Any ideas?

Try swapping out the O2 sensor with another bike to see if the fault clears or check the wiring for possible damage when you tried to make it quieter...

I'd take it to kawasaki, put it on their computer-easy
Or you can read the fault codes yourself, how to do it is in the manual iirc

A little yellow wire had the coating worn off, by the big harness close to the battery, (sorry cyclist not motorcyclist). Put some black tape on it and no more light.
