Day 1 has just finished and its casey moaner again who tops the time sheets, he certainly looks the man to beat this year in my books, although dani pedrosa's times are certainly up there aswell, its gonna be a mean season!!

The Repsol Honda team has dominated the opening day of MotoGP testing in Sepang, with Casey Stoner posting the fastest time of the day, followed by team-mate Dani Pedrosa.

At the end of the morning session, Andrea Dovizioso was third quickest, making it a top three for the Honda team, but the afternoon session saw him demoted by Jorge Lorenzo on the factory Yamaha, and Colin Edwards for Tech 3 Yamaha.

Valentino Rossi had finished the morning fifth fastest on the Ducati, but slipped to ninth by the end of the day, one second slower than Stoner's fastest time.

Sepang MotoGP lap times as of 6pm on Wednesday, at the end of day two of the second official test of 2011.
Casey Stoner moved ahead of team-mate Dani Pedrosa in the final minutes; Ben Spies was unhurt in a fall during the last hour; Valentino Rossi was forced to miss the whole second day due to sickness.

MotoGP world champion Jorge Lorenzo set the best lap time on Yamaha's 'T2' test bike.

Testing at Sepang concludes on Thursday evening.
