I was staying at a guest house in Chiang Mai, 1990. A Dutch couple were staying there. They rode this Yamaha from the Netherlands. The comfortable seat looks like it's off a Honda Goldwing.

I used to own one in Central Oz.
It sure ate up those corrugated roads and had a massive range. But kick-back from that starter was painful!!
 
I bought a new one in 1990 which by then had disc brakes and electric start and no kick start, a very fine machine indeed
