Doi Suthep Dirt Loop With The Wife

Beautiful day in Chiang Mai today, hadn't rained for 36 hours, so the wife and I decided to take the DRZ's up Doi Suthep and ride some dirt trails.

Pretty steep here on greasy clay.




Fantastic days riding, the clay was pretty dry in most places, it was Som's first time out on the Suzuki DRZ 400, a bit high for her in the rutted areas, but she did a great job.

Nick - was just a short afternoon ride, just 35km i think.

It was the first time she'd been on a DRZ 400, very tall bike she did well.

Awesome Phil, respect to your good wife for giving it a go. Hope she liked it.
I use to go on tour with my missus on the R1 and Gixer and she loved it. I'd like to get her into some dirt riding. The KLX is still a bit tall for her so would need to lower it a touch and then find a baby sitter.

Ps I see you had the proper knobbies on and gave the wife the dual sports for the clay!!! :
