Hi
Just back from a longer Trip with some Bike Problems i clean up my CRF real good .
Mean i take it mostly apart and clean bit by bit from Hand .

I found out something unexpected .

First , if you remove the Fuel Pump and install it (like the manual recoment ) with a new Gasket , make shure you install
the Gasket correct . Depend the manual say nothing that this Gasket has a marker that has to be by the Fuel Hose .
Just use a new one . What i dit and without close inspection install it wrong what lead to a fuel leak .

The Gasket is easy to install , just pull the 3 rubber grommets through the holes . The manual don't mention this , and carefull the grommets lock evenly spaced but they don't .
If the Position of the Gasket is wrong the last grommet look like in this Pic.

And if you pull it through the hole next to it it end with a gasket that is oval and can leak after some km .

And the reson why i had to change the fuelpump was a totally dirty fuel Pump Filter that lead to a clogged injector.
At first i found only the primary Filter in the Fuel Pump housing , very Dirty .
But back Home i cut the Pump housing open and found a secondary filter .

That white Plastic is the Pump housing and the round deep Hole the place where this Filter sit .
The outside of the Filter sould be the clean side of the Filter . But check the Plastik , left side i just pull the Filter , right side i clean with my finger .

After 2 Filters there should not be so much dirt in the Gasoline to block the injector .Some how the dirt in the nice Fuel here had worked its way through the Filters over the last 40000 km .

And by the cleaning i found a totally worn through Chain Slider .
New top , old bottom .

The Chain had already nibble on the Swingarm .

And that is the bottom corner of the Swingarm .

And from the position and angle of the nibble that can only happen when the shock is nearly full compressed and the Chain is a little to lose .
Means in my case Offroad and with luggage on the back , i not even remember to bottom out ever .
The CRF has now close to 50000 km from witch i maybe 10000 km run a 13 T Front sprocket .
Smaller Sprocket brings the Chain closer to the Swingarm .
The rest with 14 or 15 T.
And from this 10000 km i was maybe 500-600 km offroad and with Luggage .

But if that damage happen in that short period where i run a 13 T and was offroad with luggage how then a Swingarm on a bike that run a 13 T permanent and more offroad Km locks ?

Don't know , but if you use your CRF heavy offroad and with a 13 T i recomend checking that Swingarm corner freqently .

i've been using crf 4 years driving more than 130000 km almost off-road with 13t, 14t and 45, 48t back. this never happened, just swimgarm bearings have to be change sometimes due to off road . The YSS shock it is exactly same as stock ?

No , YSS is a few mm longer then the stock shock.
But that can not make the difference if you have so much more offroad km without that damage .
Wonder when and how this happen to my CRF .

Swingarm bearings i can confirm , the Dustcaps that Honda use to protect the Swingarm bearings are not as good as the Oil Seals at the Pro link .
Every cleanup/regrease there is much more dirt on the swingarm bearings as on the Link bearings , but mine are still o.k.
Use always plenty of waterproof Grease for boats .
