Total distance 239 km
Late last night I found this little fella in the guesthouse where I stay, am I right in assuming its a baby Banded Krait?
If so its not the most welcome of guests there, fortunately it was not killed and was released outside to slither away
Out of town along the 108 then a right onto the 121 then a left onto the 3035 to follow the canal road to San Pa Tong, here I take the 1013
A pleasant scenic ride too
A well surfaced twisty road to start with
Further along and a friendly elephant
Now the baby one is rushing over to join us
As I ride further out and start climbing the road gets seriously potholed
The road numbers keep changing, here its the start of the 5119 and it looks like theres been some recent rain
Plenty of lettuces growing out this way
Always a great view from out along here
Someones got some transplanting to do
A nice new house
The neighbours one isnt in quite the same condition though
The road has now become the 5389
Its time for the 5.5km dirt section
Unfortunately this is the last photo from todays trip as I forgot the charge the cameras battery and it died on me.
I ride through to the 5032 turn left and ride until the asphalt finishes at N18.56.004 E098.28.130 then turn around and ride to Samoeng.
The road is good in places but lots of potholes in others, at Samoeng I take the 1269 then the 121N to CNX
A Mississippi Bayou burger at Pinkys wings tonight for 165 Baht.
