Christmas Dinner at Rider Corner

That time of the year is with us again and some have made plans to celebrate the festive season, somewhere and somehow.

There are others, myself included who have not made any plans but as Xmas day approaches feel like some sort of traditional celebration. I mentioned it to Som a couple of evenings ago and she kindly offered to prepare a roast dinner for me. Phil is on the way back from his ride at present and I have mentioned it to him so he suggested that I post it on Ride Asia to see if there are some other likeminded riders who would like to join in a Group Dinner (or lunch) on Christmas Day.

I have no detail of the menu, other than a roast but having enjoyed Som and her team's food before, I am sure they could provide something great.

If you could reply should you wish to get together so we can get it arranged.

Thanks to all who have replied to the Xmas Dinner invitation at Rider Corner. Time is set for around 2pm Christmas Day and Som can once again spoil us all with her wonderful cooking skills.

Anyone still wanting to join in the festivities please contact asap so proper provisions can be obtained.

Hi Col been trying to get there but have had to be in Chiang Mai this week attending to matters as i set up a Pressure Cleaner business. Will be up as soon as i am clear, hopefully you still there. Merry Xmas.

Sorry you cannot make the inaugaral Rider Corner intimate Christmas Dinner Bob but after hearing your chest infection on the phone last night we are pleased that you wont be there to share your festive germs 5555

A great day had by all at the Rider Corner Christmas lunch. With only a short planning stage there was a good turnout to enjoy a traditional Xmas lunch.

Fresh Asian spring roll entrée followed by a huge plate of roast meats including turkey and many roast vegetables, desert was a cream tart with ice cream.
Good company with some casual walkins enjoyed the day with Christmas carols playing in the background.

Thanks Som and Phil for entertaining us all and a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year from everyone
