Chiang Mai to Pai for lunch & back?

Hi folks,

Just wondering for those who have gone.
Would a ride from CM to Pai for lunch & back be
considered a comfortable day ride?
wife & I would be on a 250

We have done rides like CM to Phayao etc for lunch.
Is it about the same in saddle time?

Yeah it's not a hard there and back.. I did pai to cm edge of city in an hour 40 last week not pushing hard but no stopping either..

Road surface a bit of a mess and the usual near head on from overtaking silver minivan on a bend all part of the adventure.

Yes, easily doable and along the way you have several nice coffeeshops with good coffee so a nice break is possible if needed.
