The route 108, 3009,
Total distance 153 km
I head north off of the 1096 following the irrigation canal to its right on a nice stretch of asphalt when suddenly the road veers east
There is a wall built across the road
A detour around the wall is there
This twisty road eventually makes its way to join the 3009, on the other side of the irrigation canal it looked like a new asphalt surface curving off to the west that will be explored next trip along here
I take a left off the 3009 to visit the Nam Mae Saluang reservoir
This is a concrete road until N19.00.252 E098.52.082
At the reservoir this dog is enjoying a lazy sunday
Its a full and slightly overflowing reservoir
Now heading west on an unnumbered road towards Muang Kha
I ride past Muang Kha to see where this road goes to, apparently there will be a temple along here
These monks robes look more red than orange to me
I stop for some photos at Wat Phraputthabat Si Roi
Just past here the paved surface finishes at N19.01.085 E098.45.493

I poke around on a couple of offroad tracks wondering if theres a decent one going back towards Pang Kwao
No definitely not the way
Thats not a track either
Now heading back towards Muang Kha
I ride to the end of a paved surface at N18.59.753 E098.48.241 then ride on dirt for a while as my GPs shows this dirt track will reach the 4017 but it soon turns steep wet and slippery so its back to paved time
Now in Muang Kha
Riding back I take a right to visit the Sai Mok waterfall
The paved surface finishes at N19.00.651 E098.49.931 then its this dirt track to the waterfall
The girl in the pink top and the guy in the previous photo both look like they eat more than I do, greedy bastards
