23rd December 2023
Last night I rode out to the Festival, being held on the vast area at Chaloem Phrakiat Park off the Outer Ring Road.
18.834, 98.966.
As we all know it is much better to take a bike to such events than a car because of the traffic density and ease of parking.
But it was bloody cold riding home around 9pm!
This was a delightful event, with a wide selection of glorious flowers, clever light arrangements and a spectacular light show on the lake.
ALL FOR FREE!
I believe the event finishes on 31st December.
So here are a few pics, hoping to share the ambience of the evening.
Hydrangea.
As usual, the orchid display was magnificent.
The last time I tried this was too many years ago when a pre-teen (and when sugar didn't matter).
And, as usual, a tempting array of snacks to nibble on when walking around (and there is a lot of walking to be done!)
See the dolphins?
Carefully back to home, a hot shower and a nice red then early to bed.
Altogether a most enjoyable evening.
Life is good.
