We have been approached by a friend who is connected to Lions-Rotary in Australia they have kindly offered to help some needy kids in Thailand, Laos or Cambodia who may be in need of some hand or arm (up to the elbow) prosthesis, these are of the plastic variety as shown in the picture.
They would supply and fix, with all logistics totally free of charge, I know while travelling in Laos we have all come across many of these kid's who have lost limbs due to UXO explosions but actually reaching out to them is difficult, do any of you of any kids who would benefit from such help?
They are looking for around four kid’s, if you can help or point us in the direction of a local point of contact who may be able to push this forward please let me know.
We have already reached out to the TLCB who are active in the area to see if they can support this.
