With a new pair of Alpinestar Tech 8 motocross boots being around $460 bucks in the USA & around $600 bucks in Thailand, it was probably worth trying to get some new soles put on my boots rather than throw them away.
BignTall had new soles put on some MX boots in Chiang Mai and it was very successful (even if they looked like Elton John platform boots by the time they'd finished to make him taller), so I gave the same place a shot.
This is what they turned out like:
Glued Cat soles, the glue seems to have bonded well, i pulled the seam pretty hard and there was no give
650 bht - really good value for the amount of work involved to make this a professional job & a free height gain, great for high mx bikes.
