While crossing recently met a few Chinese guys riding big bikes from China to Thailand

Honda Goldwing (1400 CC) and a Triumph Rocket III (2300 CC)

I did ask and they rode over but as their English was slightly better than my non-existent Chinese I could not find out if they had an escort or not.
