Open invite to a BBQ to celebrate the Bigfella getting evicted for a while again next week. The dreaded work beckons.

6:30pm, 200 baht at Riders Corner this Saturday.

Shame I cant be there Ian, I see your invite has already been deleted from another place you posted it

I'm somewhat amazed at that Colin. In the spirit of reconciliation, a guy holds out his hand in friendship and gets his arse kicked in return. Why?

Still, whoever it was who deleted it "over there" is welcome to come along on Saturday and enjoy the hospitality and friendship here.

This is about moving forward, as my glorious Prime Minister would say.

There is an aura of unpleasantness over on that forum nowadays unless you are part of their inner circle, I am not and never wish to be a member of it

Look forward to it Ron.

Me and the burd will be there, see ye the morra neet

Can't make sorry Ian, have fun and be sure to wear the pink pants !!!

Sorry guys, I am in Chiang Rai on a family visit :) / :(

Hope you have a good evening!

Ally

Coming with the missis

Geez, I'd forgotten about the pink pants.

Yeah, OK, special request, guess I'd better.

Bob - I'll catch up with you next trip. Ally - I'll be in touch.

I've re-posted the invite over on GT-Rider. Hope to see some of them at the dinner

Its been deleted already Ian and by the same culprit too

Is it my BO?

It would seem that reconciliation is a nasty idea to some people. Why are they so insecure?

Love to be there..... unfortunately bobbing around in a steel can off Denmark.

Just got these photo's from Som ...looks like a packed house (I'm in China unfortunately) - Ian, you're a class act, looking forward to seeing you on your return, sorry I couldn't be there to say goodbye.

Looks like a great evening

Another delicious BBQ at Riders Corner, this one to farewell the BigFella, who presented himself
as a fine example of sartorial elegance.

A huge selection of meat, fish, salads and fruit was available.
I counted 26 people when taking these pics and more arrived after; so probably about 35 there.
And some fine red wine too! (Thanks Ian)

'Well done' to Khun Som and the staff at Riders.

Great photo's Ron, looks like the Admiral put on a good BBQ for everyone, sorry I couldn't be there, the first one I've ever missed, thanks to everyone that came.

Great night, thanks Som & the crew. Now its back to Oz to lose some weight... and that damn double chin.

Great evening and thanks to Som for putting on a wonderful BBQ.

Ahhh, the pink number goes back to Oz with me. I might wear it to my next Chamber of Business Exec meeting.

Glad to see you had a good send off Ian, hopefully catch up with you again on a future visit

Thanks Colin. It was a very successful joint forums get together. I think it was something like 34 from one, one from the other (joint member methinks). How am I going to achieve world peace at this rate? Had my first visit to E. Diner the day before to say G'day too.

There's no doubt about it, Som turns on a great event here.

We moved apartments that day. Looks like me and the she-wok missed a good feed and some good company. Thanks for sharing the pix!
