I was just looking at some photos from my June 2010 ride through Vietnam on a Zinda 110 (China Honda) and came across this shot of a sunset in Hue

I'm sure there's plenty more photos of lovely sunsets in Asia.

Despite what the locals will tell you about there being no police here.... a couple of undercover drug squad guys stopped and took photos of themselves with my bike. The water seller got a foul look from them when he told me who they were.

Not sure if this technically qualifies as a sunset... but it was close on dark. I'd been on the road, in the rain for 8 hours from Mae Sot, and this was half an hour or so (+/-) before I got to Chiang Mai. Of course, it dumped on me again just after this and I arrived in Chiang Mai soaked to the bone

A gentleman that I had lunch with earlier today thinks it might be cheating to put a photo of an Australian sunrise in a thread on Asian sunsets. Nah.. sunrise, sunset... what's the difference?

Here it is. Lightning Ridge, NSW. During the Scrapheap Adventure Ride a couple of years ago. The hotel rooms here are underground, to escape the heat






This is the hotel corridor, leading to the rooms



... and another one - from the "campsite" my son and I had the day previous.... the bus shelter in Cobar. We got in late at night and couldn't find the house where we were supposed to be staying. Dawn again - and yep, we slept on the concrete.



Not sure if this will work... but here's the riding conditions out there.... although it does get big time sandy at times. If you speed drops below 80 kph in the loose sand... you are in trouble.

When I saw this thread I kind of thought I had taken some sunset pictures in the passed few years here in SEA...don't have the best camera but here are some I think are decent enough to post.

The shot does not reflect the colors well as this was one of the most awesome sunsets I've seen, only desert sunsets beat this
