I picked up one of these in the US - Suaoki K12 8000mAh 300A Peak Jump Starter Power Bank Battery Booster with Built-in Flashlight - $35 on Amazon. No fancy case, just the unit, battery clamps and a charging cable.

I had charged it up before I brought it over, and it had been sitting around for the last month. Today it started up a Honda Civic twice and only was down one light. Battery clamps are car sized, but you could put on less bulky ones for motorcycle use.
