Air Asia now has direct flights from Bangkok ( Don Mueang) to Luang Prabang, Laos for around USD $ 37 (varies on booking day) one way.


Flight time is 1 hour & 20 minutes.

Been looking at their flights as preparing for next years trip I might come in on a single entry tourist visa, I can get a return from Chiang Mai to Penang for 4500 Baht, have a week there, get another tourist visa then fly back.

This will be a cheaper option then buying a METV in the UK and having to take two days off work to get it plus a lot more enjoyable too
