only looks interesting as the second generation (revised model) still has problems, well - only know owners or let's say previous owners here in China....

ps: a Shineray company executive was questioned by a few owners of X5 bikes and he could not answer the detailed questions during the Spring Canton Fair in Guangzhou / China or let's rather say he did not want to answer.....clutch, wheels, etc....

That's a shame it has the makings of a pretty good bike if.they could iron out the wrinkles

The engine is a 100% copy of the Honda XR400 minus the oil cooler as the new second generation X5 comes without the oil cooler set-up for whatever reasons ($$$'s savings), who knows?!
As the old saying goes you get what you pay for....

We took a look at the Shineray 400's to buy as tour bikes in China

All the components from handlebar controls to foot levers felt cheap, the swing arm looked weak, so we decided against them. They look like they will need to be constantly nursed

Spot on 100%
shown in your pics in the first generation X5 with plastic tank / black engine with oil cooler, etc....
second generation has a silver engine (no oil cooler) and metal fuel tank among other changes but still problems, spent your $$$'s wisely.....
