Just outside of Winchester and its time to start using the new Canon camera
These were all taken on the 16:9 aspect ratio on the M2 2MP 1920/1080 size.
Future ones will be taken on the 4:3 aspect ratio on the L 20MP 5184/3188 size.
Also I have removed the date and time feature from the photos
Yesterday was supposed to be as hot as Thursdays high temperature but as I am approaching Salisbury the cloud appears
The sun tries to break through but doesn't quite make it
The river Avon
Further west of Salisbury and the sky returns to blue for a while before going very grey again and quite cold
Between Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury the sun burns through and the temperature finally warms up
Here I find this tractor graveyard
Looking across at the Glastonbury Tor
Now taken at 25 times optical zoom, I didn't use the digital zoom.
The new camera has 25 times optical zoom whereas the older one was only 12 times
A quick trip into Glastonbury to get some fuel as the Bms fuel light was flashing then its through some back lanes
The Bm isn't quite as economical as I was expecting it to be and actually uses a little bit more fuel than the Honda 500F did, strange as its a smaller capacity engine and only has one cylinder to feed
Quite a few gardeners busy in their allotments
Now to zoom in on that house just NE of the centre of the photo
A couple more shots of the river Avon.
I know its confusing but there are two river Avons in the UK, this one is the Hampshire one.
River Avon (Bristol), which flows through the north of the county and into the Bristol Channel at Avonmouth, Bristol
River Avon (Hampshire), which flows through Salisbury and into the English Channel at Christchurch on the border of Dorset and Hampshire
I think that's a dead end anyway
Back home and its another portion of the beef rending I made three weeks ago with brown rice
