About 6 years ago I started riding in Thailand with my Versys 650 ... in the meantime I did cover about 80k km in mostly North-East and North Thailand. And a bit in Laos and Cambodia. Changed bike to a CB500F and now riding a Z250. On the highways I am still missing the power of the Versys but on the smaller roads I am happy with the easy to move Z250.

In the begin years I did write a few trips reports on all kind of motor-flora in Thailand. Also I did write (and still do write) some motortrip reports on my own travel-blog. And I try to make a web-site as point of information for Big MotorBike Shops in Thailand.

In the years following writing trip-reports became less of a priority.

Two months ago I moved from the boring flat North-East to the stunning mountains of Nan province. I love it here!
And so many new roads to explore .... still waiting for a bit less chance of rain. Although until now it has been a lousy rainy season here in Nan.

So in the near future I will start to write again motorbike trip report on my travel-blog (and maybe a kind of smaller versions here).

If there are any people coming up to Nan for a ride or drive ... let me know. Always in for a chat / drink / bite. Only I do not login here often .... (lazy).

Changnoi, I was in Nan only once but I truly liked it there, I told my wife that Nan would be the perfect place to retire and become granddad, she laughed....
I hope you will enjoy the new environment and remember, if you get bored you can always move into the Rai.
And if you are visiting the Rai, you are always welcome in Thoeng!
