Distance 179 km



Heading out of Samoeng on the 4021 to see if I can connect to Pa Pae on a paved surface





A few villages were rode through on the journey







I notice the road has been widened with a newer surface in a few places

Heading futher north and its a narrower road as I ascend into the hills









Quite dismal and gloomy looking for a part of todays ride



A couple of short sections where the surface has deteriorated slightly





This new asphalt section which takes me to the 1095



I take the Mork Fa Waterfall road to get back to the 3009





A three km dirt section in the middle but apart from that it was fully paved













I am offered and accept a banana











Now following the Ping river back into town



Chicken with cashewnuts and rice at Riders Corner 110 Baht.
This was cooked to perfection in the style I like, a dry stir fried dish and not the bland gravy dish that I often get nowadays
