5-8-18 Hot Weather And Great Riding In East Sussex

I took a different route through part of East Sussex today and rode some fun, interesting and scenic back roads

The water doesn't look so inviting from this angle

I don't know what this has been put up for

I ride East until almost at Battle then take a back road to get to Eastbourne

As soon as I stopped here the cattle started to walk over towards me

I was only reading last week about a farmer who was trampled to death by his own cattle quite close to here so I don't think climbing over the gate might be the best idea

Now up at Beachy Head

This spot is where my Mother loved to spend sunny days just relaxing and enjoying this beautiful view from a seat here, when she passed away two years ago we scattered her ashes here

A lovely blue sea today

Chicken varuval with a garlic naan (a southern Indian/Tamil dish I enjoyed in Malaysia) for tonights meal
