I start offroading and fortunately had to double back on one track, I was a bit surprised to recognise the number plate lying in the road as mine

Lucky I didnt lose that, it can now stay in my panniers until I get it fixed or replaced.
Does anyone know how long it takes to get a replacement number plate?

Replacement plates for my truck took about 1 month last year.

Why not just go to any bike shop and buy a frame? Some of them are much sturdier than the plate and should serve you well.

Colin, just bolt it back with some bloody big washers on the face sorted :MJ

The number plate frames are a load of crap, almost everyone i have rode with off road has lost their plate using them..

You are right Bob, I had one on my Phantom as I kept on catching the number plate on the kerb but when I put one on the KLX it clattered a lot and I was told by a few people that they are a bad idea on an offroad bike as the extra weight jumping about on the rough soon breaks them
