Yesterdays first accident damaged the bike

First stop this morning was at the Castrol Bike Point and five minutes later the bike was as good as new once a wrench and a crowbar were put to work on it.
Hopefully the hospital can do the same with my thumb

Two x-rays showed a fractured thumb, the Doctor said before sending me a specialist he wanted to give me anaesthetic and realign it.
As usual the injection was the worst part, once he had finished it had the cast put on and I was sent back for more x-rays, these showed it to be within 0.05cm, I can live with it being half a millimetre out of straight

Riding to the hospital wasnt too bad but riding back with this on isnt any fun at all and it stays on for a month

Fridays trip to Mae Sot for a visa is now off, I will look into extending it for a month here in Mae Sariang, if thats not possible I will have to get to Mae Sot by 9th february but apart from riding a Honda Wave which has no left hand controls riding a bike there wont be the ideal scenario.
I am going to have to try walking as much as my ageing legs will let me for the next month now

Chicken schnitzel with creamy mushroom sauce and chips at Sawaddee 150 Baht

Wow, sorry to hear that. I am at the moment in Laos (till 17-18 February) otherwise I could have transported you to Mae Sot.

Crikey, that's no good. I guess using Shank's pony will let you eat more of those chips with no lasting effect. Take good care of that hand as it heals... It'd be a bugger not to be able to ride a manual bike.
