3 Days Enduro-Camping: Chiang Mai - Mae Cham - Mae Tho

Just back yesterday from 3 days trip. We got a driver to drive the pickup with tents, food and drinks and told him where to wait for us.

This is the first day, left Chiang Mai early morning and goal was to get to Doi Mae Tho in the early evening, prep tents and shower, then bbq and beers!

But we didn't check forecast and a storm from Vietnam came over for 3 days during our trip... So of course it didn't go according to plan

The deeper we go in the forest, the more logging we find. They're usually along the rivers and use buffalos to carry out the wood. Saw a lot in Mae Sariang too.

No, they never mind us and are always friendly. I think they know we don't care about their logging activity.
