Riding down into Huai Hom
I climb up onto the bank for a photo, Tamara wisely decides to stay put and watch
On the ride back I ride past this and think its a stickl
Something told me to go back for a second look
I thought it was dead as it didnt move even when I got closer for photographs.
I was thinking it might be a Golden Tree Snake but now not so sure.
It wouldnt move even when a truck came along so I pointed it out to the driver who graciously veered over to miss it.
There was no other option but to get a small tree branch to encourage it to move, even then it took a fair while to get it to safety.
Finally it was on the grass and safety, my rescue job was successfully completed.
I did notice the snake was getting more angry and agitated the more I kept on urging it to move though.
It has been identified as a harmless Assamese Mountain Snake
I will never tire of this road and scenery
