This leads me to a very narrow single track
The tree was a good prop to hold the bike up while I walked on to see if the track was rideable
It was a bit tight but I made it okay

Finally I can see the workers in the field
I misjudged the track and paid the price
No damage to me but the rear brake lever is virtually non useable now, I tidy up a few loose ends here then go home early to get the bike fixed
Unfortunately not far from the paved 1266 I lose the bike again on the loose gravel that has appeared on some of the offroad tracks.
The bike didnt suffer anymore but I did and its a painful ride home with a possibly broken thumb
I didnt take my glove off until getting home and the thumb area is well swollen and I cant bend the thumb at all.
It will be a trip to the hospital for an x ray in the morning me thinks
