Hopefully this sign points towards two unmapped settlements that somehow I have rode close too but didnt know they existed.
The gpx track that I put on Google maps didnt seem to show them clearly but now that I have Google Earth to open the track with its a different matter and they show
The first settlement, neither of them have names apparently, I was told this by a villager there who spoke some English
A long single track goes out from one of the settlements
The bean beaters are everywhere now
Back in the settlement
A Kawasaki Kaze, I dont see these much nowadays and seem to remember they were 2 strokes
Filtered drinking water, I dont try it though
Mud again in places.
I noticed a change in the climate today though, it was a lot cooler in the hills and feels more like what should be here now.
Hopefully today is the start of the cool dry season as I am getting pissed off with the rain making the clay tracks unrideable
Now in the other settlement
A river crossing is the way to the second settlement and its single track from the water onwards
Thankfully most of todays riding is on dry tracks like this
A pregnant pig in a settlement along the route
Lunch break for this cheerful lot, I notice the kettle and guess they know the cooler weather is on its way
The serpent doesnt want to hang around to have its photo taken
Penang chicken curry and rice at Sawaddee 100 Baht
