25-11-19 Chiang Mai- Very Low Water Levels At The Mae Ping NP

Distance 406 km

On the road by 8 am this morning as I knew it would be a long ride

Low water everywhere I look today



The 4010 south of Lamphun is a bendy short cut

The Nan Mae Moei reservoir is much lower than I remember seeing it before







Now on the 1184 and its a seriously fun road

















Approaching the Mae Ping NP and at the gates I tell them the usual that I am visiting Wat Ban Thung and dont want the NP and waterfalls, which is the truth anyway.
I always carry my Thinknet paper map here as its bi lingual and once they see Wat Ban Thung in Thai I am always let straight in for free

Where has all the water gone, this is a record low water level of all my visits here

The dog is sitting on the submerged paved road















Now back to the harsh reality of today, this should all be submerged





Time to ride back and enjoy the scenery
