Distance 89 km
The tamarind tree seems to epitomise this dry area
Surprised to see this old Suzuki 2 stroke out in the woods
76807 km and its still going strong plus looking in good condition
My eyes tell me there is a paved road ahead, according to both my GPS maps there is no road ahead
It definitel exists and as it doesnt show on the maps I have no idea where it goes
I am getting used to the smell of 2 stroke oil lately riding in this area
This giant km marker is outside a locked gate which appears to have a restaurant inside so maybe this is the menu
If its the menu it needs to be something special for 1985 Baht
This will be a tight squeeze, I only passed this tractor about 10 minutes earlier going in the opposite direction on another road so that tells me this is a through track.
If I hadnt have known it went through I would have turned back a bit further on as it got rough and didnt look like a through track
I could have got the Wave across but I walked over first and there was no way out
Totally dry that way
Only a small puddle the other way
Now for a ride through the teak trees
No track through the bamboo trees though
One minute I am riding on this
Then its this, a good variety of tracks found today
I have stopped at the end of the wide asphalt road, here its back to unpaved.
I wonder if the asphalt will be extended to the 101
High season now for the red ants eggs
In the middle of those trees on the peak is the Buddah image I can see from the 5085, next ride here I hope to ride up to it
Chicken and cashewnuts at Rakkhun Restaurant, 80 Baht including the rice
