2-2-20 Chiang Mai-Exploring An Awful Lot Of Paved Roads For The First Time

Distance 235 km

Riding south along the Ping but looking upstream





A good flow over this weir again today





Now riding some roads I dont use and possibly havent rode before just south of the outer ringroad







Clocked up 1000 km since the rebuild today so its an oil change first thing tomorrow then the bike is run in











That photo is of the Ping but not much water showing through the growth

Another shot of the Ping and no water can be seen at all



Further downstream and a good flow here too





These two werent hanging about despite being well laden

Now riding and thoroughly enjoying the 6039 for the very first time









This road loops round and another freshly paved road links the two ends up creating a nice racetrack







Good scenery along here too

















Now following the canal on the 2047 north of H 11

The smoke and haze that was here a few weeks ago has disappeared and its a much more pleasant ride home

Thinking of doing the North up the Ping route as well.
