Thats a useful device
Most days lately I have seen these trucks out along the tracks being stacked with cassava and never gave it a thought about how they unload them, today I found out
Now thats a lot quicker and easier than offloading by hand would be
Along the 4017 and its very straight so I guess it was one of the straight dirt tracks previously that are plentiful in this area
Saw these yellow flowers in a few places today
Unmapped tracks out there to ride in due course, I only ever linked one dirt track from the 4017 to the 4016 and possibly there are others to find
A lot of dust is being made there
Looking in the direction of the 4016 and I am not very hopefull of finding many joining tracks
The stream that becomes the Pa Wai Waterfall
A bike wash here too
Some very large trees here
The very deep hole is still here as well
These two were totally absorbed in taking selfies
They were still taking the selfies as I walked on
I guess this is probably a year round waterfall.
A few years ago we had a lot of heavy rain while I was here and the next day I rode to this waterfall expecting it to be a lot bigger but it had hardly changed.
I guess in september it would be a higher water level here, next trip I hope to get to Mae Sot in early november then I will visit here again
Finally I meet the only non tourist at the waterfall and he tells me to walk along a path to see a large tree
I can see the blue sky here
This was the tree he told me about
I couldnt walk back to get more tree in the photo because the sun was shining in my face
One clean motorbike
On the ride back I try this track which was unpaved last time I was here
It goes to the top of the hills then returns to unpaved
An unknown reservoir at Ban Pa Ka Mai
The 4017 is a bit of a rollercoaster now, along here its getting very windy and it feels like rain is coming
Unmapped tracks to do in the future
I noticed the previously unpaved track that linked the 4017 and 4016 was now paved off the 4017 so I ride it to see.
Not much further it is still unpaved, the turning to the left needs exploring next time
The unknown reservoir along this track still has a good water level for the time of year
A few spots of rain hit me here, on a track with this surface a storm would be of no concern at all
Suddenly the track turns to this and my short offroad adventure was over for today
The track is paved heading north for a fair way, I ride some of it and will check out the rest tomorrow.
GE has shown me what might possibly link from further along this track to a village where I rode to on another track with a lot of stream bed riding, its the track I was on a few days ago, if they link up it will be an interesting find
