This track I havent rode on for a few years, time to check it out again
Sugarcane lorries everywhere right now
Well bulldusty here, not surprised with all the traffic using it
It reaches the paved 5026
A new wider road now and its finally paved throughout
A new bridge is being built and diversions are in place
I just rode along that and really close to the river too, glad I was unaware of what was underneath me
The concrete piles have been cast-in-situ rather than hammered in
I go to explore a track through the river that I found a few days ago
I mess up and get two boots full of water
These two have wellies on which I could have done with
On the ride back I do better
A bit further on and I cant see any more track, looking at GE shows only fields along this track anyway so I turn back
The track to Ban Huai Haeng has now been paved
Getting ready for Songkran and the hot season I guess
Now on new tracks heading north off the 3047
Some single track was found too
He says if I carry on it gets very steep
Under the pomelo tree I go
He was right, the track became a very steep single track for these guys to get the crops down
I ventured off the main track to see these people, a single track carried on.
Then luck intervened, a guy rode along who lived at the end of the single track and he motioned to follow him
After about 1.5 km we stopped and he said follow me, we climbed up to this
Then I followed him down into a cave
Annoyingly neither of us had a torch
Then we climbed out and he took me to another cave further along
Back to the bikes and then I followed him home
Hot and spicy chicken tikka botti and two garlic naans at Bismillah, 200 Baht
