Following the Ping river south out of town and plenty of activity on this wooden bridge
The pillars are in on the new concrete bridge and hopefully it will soon be finished
Close to the river and there appears to be plenty of water for another rice crop
The 4054 is a beauty
I need to locate them today then tomorrow Paul and myself will walk into them with proper lights
This unpaved track leads to the Thep Na Mitra Cave
The gate is the entrance to it, one located now to find the other one
A small reservoir that is practically dry
Nearing the Erawan Cave and it looks like it was once hoped to be a tourist attraction
Totally ruined now
That looks a bit beyond repair
Its now a steep rocky climb to find the cave
There it is
I walked down a few steps and took this photo with the flash on, definitely not going any further today
There is a nature trail here which I start to explore
It only showed as a loop and I turned back here
Another track goes to a rubber plantation
Another very low reservoir
The 6065 shows as unpaved on the OSM and I guess recently paved but not used much
I noticed recently riding down the 4010 there is a paved road going off to the right just before reaching the 1184, today I rode the 4070 and its like this for a good way
It turns to unpaved
But goes further than what the OSM shows
Then it emerges onto the 1184 and is a fun loop
Now along the 3041
A fun days exploring and now back home following the Ping river
Chicken Pakora and garlic bread at Indish 165 Baht, delicious as is every meal I have eaten here.
This meal means I have tried every chicken dish on the menu that appeals to me so its now try them all again time
