160kph FRONT wheels burn-out!

Does the CRF go 160kph?

Oh crap; thought it read '16kph'!

Beyond 115kph on that bike is unchartered waters for me Ian! :DD

That certainly attests to the fact that trained professionals are better then any ABS system could ever be...that kind of fingertip precision is what makes these guys as fast as they are and still safe...the way he describes it makes for a great exercise (if one has the money for a few extra front tires)

Most quick road racers know how to slide the front to wash off speed.
Slide the front and use the knee to hold it up.

I can remember Kevin Schwantz losing the front around the old super quick right-main straight at Le Mans one time @ around 180mph and leaving a black line maybe 200m long! Crash pads were only 10's of meters away but he managed to keep it upright.

Alberto Puig wasn't so lucky and suffered nerve damage to a leg when he crashed there not long before they changed the track and slowed it down.

A short vid from the master of late braking..

Looks Mr Schwantz didn't bother with the rear brake also :)
