15 bike Nan blast

Leaving Chiang Mai, the new bright red sections on R 118 at the start of the "slider" / slippy corners. As you can see they were still painting them so we were a little concerned how slippy they would be.

Steve had some Slime tire repair solution with him. Worth a try on the leaky plug. You have to deflate the tire, remove the valve core, then squirt the Slim in through the tire valve.

RIMG2537_edited by Triangle Golden 007, on Flickr

Once the Slime is inside, the tire needs to be rotated to that the Slime is distributed evenly over the inside of the tire. It helps if you have a center stand, then you can run the bike in gear to fling the Slime around inside the tire.

RIMG2538_edited by Triangle Golden 007, on Flickr

The re-inflate the tire and hopefully the large particles in the Slime's liquid will block your hole. And guess what, it worked.

Excellent !
Rode 1148, Doi Phukha Loop last Jan
Hardly any traffic during the week, and Nan was very quiet.
Will be going thru again after new year, and onto Laos....

Yep that was a superb ride, great company, beautiful weather and awesome scenery. A big thanks to Phil and everyone else I was dueling with in the corners for a memorable trip :)
