14-12-19 Chiang Mai-Four Reservoirs South Of Highway 11 Near Hang Chat

Distance 266 km



I counted seven reservoirs just south of H 11 to the west of the 2016 and decided to go to take a look



This dirt track goes south off H 11 and should take me to the first one







Standing at the overflow and looking at the very low water level



Thats seriously low, my first visit here today











These are my favourite kind of unpaved roads, easy to ride











Dont fancy riding on that





The gap to the side of the hot asphalt got me through







Number 2 was another seriously depleted one

I am standing on the overflow looking at this







I passed a snake in the road, stopped and walked back but it was a cobra and in no mood to stop to have its photo taken







Number three and until I found the overflow I didnt realise how far from capacity it was

Number four and the only one I have ever visited before





Pitifully low too but I couldnt find the overflow





Very dry out here

No time left so the other three reservoirs can wait until monday
