Distance 64 miles/102 km

Riding through the country lanes at 11 am, autumn is here now and although its a very warm day the roads under the trees are a bit wet for a while

The sun is reflecting off my mirror

Riding through lovely country villages today

Now to walk to Leith Hill Tower

This couple tell me its a steep hard climb

It was not bad at all and I was up there pretty quickly

Its 20C up here, high for october

Best not to get too close though

Now to ride back home enjoying more good scenery along the way

Only a diesel train runs along here, its the Reading to Gatwick route and one that I might be on next Monday morning
