Distance 152 km
Getting ready to leave from Riders Corner, we meet a few more riders at the fuel stop on the 1001
Thankfully we soon get off the 1001 to follow a more sedate pleasant ride alongside the Ping river
A hazardous load about to be joining this road
Some lovely twisty bends are enjoyed
We cross over the Ping to get to the 107
Time to regroup and take a head count
This scenic road leads us to the 107 which we are thankfully only on for a short while until we get to the start of the 3009
We stop here along the 2142
Obligatory group photo time then its a non stop fun pace to the Mae Taeng river
Two days ago the Mae Taeng was a muddy brown colour but now its a lot clearer
On the bridge over the Mae Taeng
Looking up and down stream at the Ping river just before reaching the irrigation canal that flows out from it at the weir
Now on the canal road riding north towards the weir
We all agreed it was a lovly picnic or barbeque spot, there is no food her at all so you need to bring your own
The dog couldnt believe there were all these people here and no one brought him a bone or a biscuit
The final group photo then it was a fun ride along the 4034 canal road
Plenty of both foot and traffic bridges cross the canal
I have never known much traffic along this road and long may it stay that way
Indian style chicken curry and rice at Kanjana 105 baht
